Hello and welcome to Erica Lynn MUA! I have had a passion for makeup ever since I got my first Maybelline mascara in the 7th grade. After spending countless hours of my free time watching YouTube videos and practicing makeup on myself, my friends and family began asking me to do their makeup for school dances, special events, and even weddings!

This passion stayed with me as I went to Marist College in 2016 and studied Fashion Merchandising. During my time here, it became clear that my true passion lied in the areas where I had creative freedom. I also had the amazing opportunity to apply the cover makeup for Marist’s student-published fashion magazine. Upon graduation in 2020, I went on to a corporate job where I quickly realized that the corporate life was not for me.

So, in 2024, I decided to quit that job to finally pursue my own business full time. From there I attended Artist Makeup Academy (AMA), where I had the amazing opportunity to learn from some of New Jersey’s most renowned and accomplished makeup artists. Upon completion of this program, I received my Certificate of Makeup Artistry for successfully completing 150+ hours of formal makeup artistry education. I feel that everything in my professional journey has led me to this point, and I could not be more grateful to have a career that I am so in love with. I am so thankful to all of my clients who trust me with their most special life moments!
